Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation Consultants Undergo Parliamentary Inquiry Following Allegations of Partiality in Unauthorized Document

She opens by giving context to the leaked memorandum written by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.
"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation tilting toward one side or the other, I just want it balanced, fair and fair," he declares.
When asked whether he believes the BBC is institutionally biased, the adviser replies: "No, I do not. Let's be clear, numerous aspects the BBC produces is exceptional - including factual and non-factual programming."
But he adds: "There is real work that requires attention at the British Broadcasting Corporation."
The second ex-adviser BBC specialist questioned by the group, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the BBC with great importance and that it has a "persistent practice and active debate" on fluid and multifaceted issues.
"Did the BBC ready to engage in a thorough dialogue and argument and act accordingly?" she questions. "As I see it, indeed, they were."
